Dr. Noah is a lifelong Chiropractic patient. At a very early age Dr. Noah suffered from chronic strep throat and earaches. His health was restored from specific Chiropractic adjusting and to this day Dr. Noah has not had either of these ailments again. Dr. Noah attended Montclair State University and graduated with honors in 1997. Immediately after graduation Dr. Noah furthered his education at Life University in Georgia and graduated in December 2000 with a doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Noah is a member of the ANJC, an avid runner, a Toastmaster, a Rotarian, Board Member of the Ahern Scholarship Foundation, and founder of EPOC NJ. He has been married to his beautiful wife Kerri for 9 years and has two incredible children.The Family Chiropractic Center of Bayonne is located in a historic building in Bayonne on the corner of 33rd Street and Broadway. Dr. Noah’s patient age range is from infants a few hours old to his oldest patient an enlightened 99 year old. SPArtiesMobile Spa recently had the honor to offer our services at the grand opening of City Chemist in Brooklyn, NY.

Kicking it off with a "Big Brooklyn Beauty Bonanza," the day was hosted by Bravo's Dina Manzo and Alex McCord, of the Real Housewives series, who were on hand to support Manzo's charity, Project Ladybug. Founded by Manzo, Project Ladybug supports programs at St. Joseph's Hospital and Memorial Sloane Kettering for children with cancer and is expanding to other medical facilities throughout the country.

Guests at City Chemist were treated to mini SPArties massages and foot reflexology, eyebrow reshaping with Ramy, makeup with Ivan from Paula Dorf and Stacy from Smashbox, and facials by Dr. Haushka, while they enjoyed Brooklyn inspired food such as bagels, hot dogs, potato latkes, and cheesecake!

SPArties Mobile Spa has been in the industry for almost a decade now and we have always run a legitimate "SPA" business and hopefully have provided that image to the public. All of our staff are licensed, insured, educated, and experienced PROFESSIONALS, and there is a BIG difference between them and those who call themseves a "masseuse" to promote other services that are illegal or not in the direct line with the spa industry.

Almost all of our staff are members of the American Massage Therapy Association and we recently received the following information from them regarding the recent decision by Craigslist to protect "massage therapy" listings. We couldn't agree further with their decision and, again, in line with always letting our clients know what is best AND legal practices within our industry, we wanted to share the following with you to educate and inform you for your OWN protection and safety:

AMTA Applauds Craigslist Decision Calls for Protection of Massage TherapistsEvanston, IL – The American Massage Therapy Association® (AMTA®) views the decision by Craigslist to remove its ‘erotic services’ section as an opportunity to clarify for the public that prostitutes who claim to provide massage are not massage therapists.

“The public and massage therapists have a right to know that advertising for massage should only be the right of massage therapists,” says Judy Stahl , AMTA President. “We hope this decision will ensure that massage is only advertised on Craigslist through its ‘therapeutic’ section and that any new ‘adult’ section will not allow posters to use terms related to massage therapy.”

Most states regulate the massage therapy profession and restrict use of the term ‘massage’ in business and advertising to legally practicing massage therapists.The recent publicity surrounding the murder of a call girl who called herself a masseuse on Craigslist has confused many people. Massage therapists have had clients and patients question their professionalism and raise concerns about them advertising their massage practices through Craigslist.

Unfortunately, prostitutes frequently claim to offer massage and use the term ‘masseuse’ to appear as legitimate therapists. While most massage practitioners prefer the term massage therapist, some still use the older term, rooted in European health traditions, of ‘masseuse’.AMTA believes these terms related to massage should only be used by those with a legal and professional right to do so.

The non-profit professional association wants the public to feel confident that anyone who claims to provide massage is a trained professional who practices legally.

“We call on Craigslist, the media and other online services to respect massage therapists and to protect the public from misrepresentations of massage. And, we continue our support for the efforts of the state attorneys general to protect the public from inappropriate advertising,” says Stahl.

The American Massage Therapy Association is a nonprofit professional association of more than 58,000 members founded in 1943. AMTA professional members have demonstrated a level of skill and knowledge through education and/or testing and must meet continuing education requirements to retain membership. AMTA provides information about massage therapy to the public and works to improve the professional climate for massage therapists. It advocates fair and consistent licensing of massage therapists in all states.

Poongnyun Korean Market & Catering for All Occasions!

SPArties Mobile Spa hosts a lot of different type events where we are exposed to many different cultures and customs. We recently had the great pleasure to participate in a Korean wedding for some great friends.

The food was not your typical "wedding food," but rather was catered by Poongnyun Korea Market and Catering in Palisades Park, NJ. The experience was so memorable and unique that is prompted us to share a little but more about them with our readers. This is a great idea for those of you who may be looking for something different, or simply know and love Asian cuisine and want to make it a part of your events or regular diet.

"Poongnyun," which means "Great Autumn Harvest" carries Japanese, Korean, or Chinese food.

Bulgogi: Marinated Beef Rib Eye

Panchan: Various Korean Side Dishes.

Carbonite Saved the Day - and EVERYTHING Else!

This past Friday SPArties Mobile Spa computer system completely crashed and the entire hard drive needed to be reformatted - which basically means all of the programs, files, documents, e-mails, favorites, photos, videos, etc. would all be gone... unless it was backed up. Fortunately not less than a month ago we switched to a new backup service called Carbonite. The price and ease of use was what attracted us most - $50 per year! Yes, not per week, per month -- per YEAR...a VERY small price to pay to save your entire company's documentation and rest assured knowing you'd be up and running in no time!

Little did we know how soon we'd be using it. As soon as our hard drive crashed on Friday, within minutes, we were able to move over to our other laptops and access our files through Carbonite. While our system was being rebuilt over the weekend, we were able to restore EVERY single file through Carbonite within minutes. We retrieved it all...every last bit, all documents, all photos, all artwork, all videos, all e-mails, even our bookmarked favorites! All I can say is Carbonite is by FAR my very favorite product ever...it did what is said and was worth every penny! I recommend this product to EVERY one, whether you are a business owner or not... If you own a computer, you NEED this. $50 is a small price to pay to save those vaulable vacation photos or your baby's first smile photos that you may never retrieve again if your computer were to crash! And if you ARE a business owner - it is ESSENTIAL. No equipment, no time backing up files, no saavy technical skills required (it runs in the background for you). It's simply the best thing ever and every one of you NEEDS this!

It seems fitting this time of year, with it being the holidays, that I mention a great drummer I know, Dino Castano. We know each other for many years and recently reconnected; however it didn't take long for us to remember what a phenonmenal drummer Dino is and start utilizing his services. Yes - can you believe of all instruments SPArties actually uses a drummer at some of our events! (A drum roll is a great way to announce something or to get your crowd excited about your product or service)
With over 40 years of experience, Dino can play a variety of percussion instruments and various styles of music. He is available for instruction, studio work, and touring.
